Description:

The second in a series of genealogy programs is being offered at the Belton Area Museum Association, located in the historic Belton Train Depot, on Thursday, Nov. 16, beginning at 7 PM.

This program entitled Family Trees and Me:  Resources a Plenty will feature veteran genealogists sharing their tried and true strategies for researching family trees.

“Discover what resources a budding genealogist needs in his or her toolkit. See what collections and materials are available for research at the Belton Area Museum Association and other genealogical repositories in the area,” said program coordinator Kay Willis Burns.

Attendees will also learn the strategies for success, whether a professional  or an amateur.

“This is a must attend event for all people interested in genealogy,” stated BAMA Executive Director Abigail Burden.

There will be a $5 admission fee for the public; BAMA members may attend free if they are at the Patron level of membership.
